Abacá is a contemporary Filipino-Californian restaurant in San Francisco. It showcases Filipino culture and cuisine using California ingredients. It is a spin-off of chef Francis Ang's pop-up Pinoy Heritage.

The restaurant is inside the Kimpton Alton Hotel at 2700 Jones St., in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf area.
What are Abacá's operating hours?
- Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Dinner hours are Monday to Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Reservations & Seating
Are reservations required?
Reservations are highly recommended, especially for dinner and brunch, although walk-ins are accepted and prioritized.

What is the cancellation policy?
A 24-hour cancellation policy is in effect, and a $25 per person fee is charged for cancellations made within this timeframe.
Do they have outdoor seating?
Yes, limited uncovered patio seating is available. Dressing in layers is suggested for outdoor dining due to potential wind in the Fisherman's Wharf area.
Do they have a bar for walk-ins?
Yes, Abacá has a full-service bar that accepts walk-ins. However, with only 10 seats, it can get busy, particularly during peak hours.
Can we bring our own wine or desserts?
They have a corkage policy of $25 per 750ml bottle upto 3 bottles. 4th bottle will be an additional $5 per bottle.
Cake Fee is $5 per person.
Please inquire for any special cake order if interested (requires a 5 days lead time prior reservation time/ pick up)
Is the restaurant dog friendly?
Yes, we love dogs but non-service dogs are not allowed inside, however, we have outdoor seating.

Can you take large parties?
We sit upto 10 people in the main dining room.
10-20 people requires a family style dinner.
20-50 people requires to be booked at the Studio (private dining room)
How to book Kamayan Dinner?
Opentable takes upto 10 people for Kamayan dinner starrting at $95 per person. Exclusive of beverages, gratuity and taxes.
Please call the restaurant if your party is more than 10.
Dress Code
Is there a dress code?
While not mandatory, Business Casual attire is recommended. Dressing nicely is encouraged to match the elegant atmosphere. Shorts, flip-flops, and tank tops are not recommended.

What's on the menu?
The menu features sections for barbecue sticks, noodles and rice, and small to large shared plates. Examples of dishes include sisig fried rice, lumpia, hand made noodle, and various skewers.
Does Abacá accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes, Abacá can accommodate dietary needs such as shellfish, nut allergies, vegan, and gluten-free diets. They offer a "Paubaya" (Leave it to the Chef) tasting menu that can be customized for dietary requirements. It is advisable to inform them of any restrictions when booking your reservation.

Is parking available?
Valet parking is offered for $20 plus tax for 3 hours. Street parking is also available on Jones and Beach Street.
